Upon turning 55 years old, members can withdraw their CPF savings, after setting aside their Full Retirement Sum or Basic Retirement Sum with sufficient CPF property charge/pledge in their Retirement Account.

Do I need to withdraw the CPF savings at age 55?
The withdrawal of your CPF savings is optional. If you do not withdraw at 55 years old, you can do so anytime later. In addition, you need not take out the full amount at one go.


What is the benefit if I do not withdraw the CPF savings at age 55
There is an additional extra interest of 1% per year will be given on the first $30,000 of your CPF balances (for members aged 55 and above) to enhance the retirement savings of CPF members. This is on top of the existing 1% extra interest on the first $60,000 of combined CPF balances

Happened to see this Dim Sum restaurant on the way to Aeon Bukit Indah. Worth a visit if you have not been there before. There are still seats available on a Sunday morning. Food is good, price is reasonable. Go try it for yourselves.
